Over 95% of PET acoustic felt is manufactured in China. We undertook a rigorous selection process to choose our PET supply partner, including factory visits in China to see firsthand the operations behind these companies. We were profoundly impressed by Burgeree, the world’s largest producer of PET.
Changshu, the city where Burgeree is based, is a modern, cosmopolitan district that surpasses many UK cities in development.
There are no exploitative practices within its advanced infrastructure, only dedicated, loyal people working hard to build a future for themselves and their families.
Burgeree sets exceptionally high standards for working conditions and employee welfare. Their impressive facilities and equipment reflect an organisation of high integrity and standing. Lumii Design is honoured to be their UK representative and formal distributor.
Furthermore, many of the world’s largest producers of commercial interior products source materials from Burgeree. Companies like Steelcase, Haworth, and Humanscale have stringent processes for engaging with Chinese suppliers.
